HISTORY
Pregnancy "Outreach" Center opened in 1997 under the direction of the National Institute for Family and Life Advocates. We also belong to Heartbeat International, which assists pregnancy resource centers. There is a formal organizational structure, bylaws, and other legal documents to assure the clinic is operated with the highest ethical and moral standards, subject in all things to Biblical instruction and accountibility. All contributions are fully tax deductible.

Free confidential pregnancy testing is offered along with limited obstetrical ultrasound, lay counseling, post abortion counseling, maternity and baby clothing and accessories. Also provided are referrals for housing, financial assistance, professional counseling, adoption, health care, legal aid, chastity, natural family planning, and parenting. A pro-life library with books, DVDs and videos is available for those who want to use it for furthering education.

Client Advocates, who have had 14-16 hours of training, work with women in stressful pregnancy situations and in 2007 three nurses were trained by Sonography Now to scan women so they could see their baby in the womb. Dr. Dawn Meisner, DO, is our Medical Director and the Hospital Radiology Service Physicians read our scans.

In July of 2008 we started going out in an RV, which was purchased from another Pregnancy Resource Center. It had already been converted into a medical clinic to do pregnancy testing and ultrasound. We go to Princeton, Ottawa, Oglesby and Peru at this time.
